Clark County Home Educators (CCHE)

CCHE's Mission is to offer support and information in all areas pertaining to
home education.
CCHE serves also as a political watch group for issues and concerns that
promote freedom for all homeschoolers and traditional family values.
Clark County Home Educators (then and now):
In the summer of 1988, a group of seven women met. They were all mothers of
children who were being homeschooled. They felt a common need to build a support
network for homeschooling families. With the help of the Washington Homeschool
Organization (WHO) and leaders in the statewide homeschooling movement, papers
were filed as a non-profit organization, meeting state and federal guidelines.
Today, CCHE has a board of directors who are volunteer homeschooling parents
and a membership of around 150 families throughout Clark County. Members receive
a monthly newsletter from August through May, discounts to CCHE sponsored
events, and other benefits.
