Hello FLEX Fans !
November is already here and we would
like to send you a few updates and an outlook on what is going on this
month.
October just flew by and we hope everybody got
to enjoy the wonderful weather.
Fundraiser for Lisa Blake ! 19 families showed up and enjoyed an educational and fun
afternoon with treats and refreshments. We were able to raise more than $150 for
Lisa and her family. Thank you
!

interesting links have been added and people keep approaching us about sharing
some of their information. Please feel free to share your co-op, group or
fieldtrip information with us. e-mail

Name list ! In
November we are hoping to get a name list and proposal ready to approach City
Council and the mayor with. We would like to show them the growing interest
in having a Family Learning EXperience Center in the Vancouver
area.
If any of you are interested in signing up,

have any ideas or suggestions, please let us know.

NOVEMBER HAPPENINGS
What is coming up?
There are a lot of great fieldtrips offered this
month, check them out under through the FLEX website under field
trips.
The name list will be posted on the
website and the proposal will be finalized.
We are still looking for places to meet on a
regular basis.
We will add a link for homeschool programs that
are currently offered through businesses. (For example band and orchestra
through Beacock Music).
