SPOTLIGHT Hello FLEX fans!
We hope you had a wonderful
summer. This one just flew by for us! So what has happened since
we last mailed you:
- We have added a lot of
new information to the website.
- Now we have a "counter"
to keep track of how many hits we
received (so far
over 3600).
- We are well on our way
for the conference, 11 guest speakers have confirmed
/ we have about 10 vendors / more than 40 people have RSVP'd so
far. There is still some
room left!
- CCHE invited us to their
annual information night.
It was a great
opportunity to meet people face to face and put a
face to wxyz@email .
- Two businesses in
Vancouver approached us and asked for help.
They are
trying to put a program together just for Home Schoolers.

Things for
September:
* Rod Hill, the
meteorologist from K-2, will do a "Weather Show"
(this event has filled up "overnight" we are hoping to schedule some more
soon)
* Don't forget to get your
"Intend to Homeschool" from your local district
(you have until September 15th)
* If you would like to come
to the Conference please "RSVP" by the 15th!
NEED YOUR
HELP!
We need volunteers for the
Conference:
1. 3 people to help set up
tables and chairs (before the conference)
2. 3 people to take down
things (after the conference)
3. Refreshments / bite size
desserts
4. Does anyone have a
microphone system that we could use?

put one person or business in the spotlight to give you a little bit more
information about him / her / them.

Who are we? Well, "we" is a
little overstated... I am a stay-home dad with two small children tinkering
around making websites for those who've asked - such as my parents, my Lion's
club, some friends a local homeschool group, my high school class, etc. So
if you have a small business, home-business, non-profit organization, community
service group or need help with setup & design of your next website, contact RMP +

Interested in starting a Home School Band in

We try to give you all the
local information first, but widen our search for things that are not yet
available locally. We also search for events, activities, resources or programs that
are free.
