National Marine Sanctuaries

The mission of National Marine Sanctuaries is to serve as the trustee for the nation's system of marine protected areas, to conserve, protect, and enhance their biodiversity, ecological integrity and cultural legacy.

They have a free education network that will alert educators of upcoming field studies, professional development opportunities, and more.

They aim to provide teachers with resources and training to support ocean literacy for your students. You will find curriculum, lesson plans, and activities that will excite your students about science and technology.
