SMART 4-H club
The majority of our current club members are in the middle school/high school
range; however, we do have a few younger kids. Kids can participate as early as
kindergarten age, all the way through high school. The project groups that we
have this year are:
Dogs, Rabbits, Goats, Gardening, Photography/Scrapbooking, Creative &
Performing, Arts, Foods & Nutrition, Riflery & Archery, Bicycle, Outdoor
Adventures, Know Your Government (for grade 9 & up), Sitter, Fiber Arts
(Crochet, knitting, sewing).
There are lots of other projects available if we have kids who are
interested, and a leader to help them.
We have leaders for all of the groups except Photography/scrapbooking. We
also welcome helpers! The entire club will meet approximately every six weeks.
Project groups will meet based on the schedule provided by the leader of each
groups. Kids are welcome to join as many or as few groups as they would like.
Most of the club members live in the Vancouver, Camas, and Washougal, so most of
the meetings will be in one of those areas. Again, it will vary depending on the
project leader.
