Games At(e) My Library

Mondays from 4:00pm to 6:00pm

Bring your YuGiOh or Magic-the-Gathering cards or play with our board games. We have dice, cards and puzzles, too.

Special Yu-Gi-Oh Tournament will be held on November 5, 12 and 19. $100.00 in prizes and no cost to enter. Participants must be 18 years or younger and must show up the first day (November 5) to be in the tournament.

 

Baby Storytime

Fridays at 9:30am and 10:30am (will not meet on July 4th)

For ages 0-24 months.

 

Family Storytime

Saturdays at noon

Storytime for all ages.
 

BJ the Clown

Tuesday, July 1st at 11:00am

BJ's hilarious and colorful performances will charm and delight children of all ages. A mix of physical comedy, magic, juggling and storytelling will have you rolling in the aisles.

Rhythmic Opera

Tuesday, July 8th at 11:00am

With traditional instruments from the Mediterranean and Asia, learn rhythms, hear stories and dance to the beat of original music and stories performed by Thomas Schroyer.

 

Tween Discussion Group

Tuesday, July 8th from 6:30pm to 8:00pm

For ages 9 - 12 plus at least one parent.

Sasquatch by Roland Smith will be discussed.

 

JuggleMania

Thursday, July 10th at 11:00am

What do you get when you combine the circus, juggling and comedy? JuggleMania! Prepare to be dazzled by comedy and daring feats in this delightful show.

 

Friday Teen Movie Nights

Friday, July 11th at 6:00pm

For ages 12 - 19

Pull up a chair and enjoy a movie in which King Arthur and his knights embark on a hilarious search for a certain object. Can you guess the movie?
Popcorn and lemonade will be provided.

All ages are invited to pull up a chair and enjoy a movie about a boy who discovers a mysterious egg that hatches into a legendary Scottish sea monster. Can you guess the movie?

Teens, help plan programs and events for your peers by joining your branch's Young Adult Advisory Board. Bring your friends and make new friends.

 

"Read to the Dogs"

Wednesday, July 16th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm

For ages 5 - 12

Have fun improving your reading skills and making a new friend by reading aloud to a therapy dog. Each child will have an opportunity to read for a 25-minute session. Registration is required.
